Positive Generation in Christ (PGIC) is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) to join our Baltimore, Maryland team. The role focuses on peer support, helping clients access resources, and guiding recovery goals within a client-centered framework.

Responsibilities include facilitating group and individual sessions, documenting services per standards, and using lived experience to inspire hope and healing in individuals facing mental health or substance use challenges.

Qualifications

• Must possess Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) certification through the Maryland Addiction & Behavioral-Health Professionals Certification Board (MABPCB) at time of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of personal recovery in mental health or substance use.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Maryland driver''s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Offer peer support based on personal recovery experience.
• Assist clients in accessing community resources and services.
• Support clients in developing and achieving personal recovery goals.
• Facilitate group and individual sessions to promote recovery and wellness.
• Document services provided in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
