Job summary

Enterprise Management Solutions, Inc. seeks a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to provide peer-based recovery support onsite at our Baltimore, MD housing facility.

The role involves mentoring clients, developing recovery plans, maintaining documentation in an electronic health record, and coordinating with program teams. This position requires a Maryland credential and lived recovery experience, with a strong focus on person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist credential required.
• Personal lived experience with recovery from mental health or substance use required.
• Minimum 1 year of sustained recovery preferred.
• 1 year of experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
• Must pass background check and onboarding/training.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer support to individuals in recovery from mental health, substance use, or co-occurring challenges.
• Promote hope, empowerment, resiliency, and self-advocacy using lived experience.
• Assist clients with recovery planning, goal setting, coping skills, and community connections.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate recovery groups, wellness activities, and peer-led workshops.
