Alamo Colleges District seeks a Certified Peer Advisor – Student Success at SAC to support student services in Advising Services at 1819 N Main Ave, San Antonio. This part-time, temporary role is hourly and not eligible for benefits.

It requires enrollment in at least six credit hours and completion of Peer Advisor Certification training within the first year of employment, with review and closing dates noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at one of the ACD colleges or another accredited institution of higher education after attending or graduating from an ACD college.
• Must complete badges related to this position as determined by the Alamo Colleges.
• Must complete Peer Advisor Certification training, as assigned, within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists Student Success staff in a variety of studentservices areas.
• Provides assistance and encouragement to all students. Refersstudents to appropriate college service area when necessary.
