Select Ortho is a rapidly growing nationwide company providing expertise, convenience and reliability in the delivery and fitting of orthoses and durable medical equipment to orthopedic practices and their patients.
The CPED-Orthotic fitter is a trained member of the physician’s team, working with all health care professionals in delivering patient care. The fitter is responsible for all matters related to and concerning DMEPOS within the clinic, including fitting, refitting, custom measurement, patient education, prior authorization, collection of co‑ins/deductible, and patient satisfaction.
High school or equivalent, unless residing in a state that requires licensing. Must currently hold Certified Pedorthist Certification, or have 3 years of experience fitting custom foot and ankle orthosis.
The job operates in an active clinical environment. The role requires regular walking to various locations within the clinic and routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines.
Standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping are frequent. The employee must frequently lift or move items weighing 20 pounds or more, and sometimes lift items weighing 5 pounds or more overhead.
Minimum travel is expected for training purposes.
