Job summary

Elevated Technologies Services, LLC is seeking a Subcontractor Compliance Specialist in Grand Rapids, MI to manage certified payroll and subcontractor compliance for federal construction projects. The role requires organization, attention to detail, and clear communication with project managers, payroll staff, subcontractors, and agencies.

Responsibilities include reviewing payroll reports, ensuring wage determinations are followed, and maintaining compliance documentation through project

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in certified payroll, construction compliance, payroll, accounting, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation for multiple projects.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review accuracy of certified payroll reports for applicable projects.
• Monitor compliance with the Davis-Bacon and prevailing wage requirements.
• Review contract wage determinations and identify required labor classifications and fringe benefit rates.
• Verify employee classifications, hourly wages, fringe benefits, deductions, and hours worked for compliance.
• Coordinate corrections when payroll discrepancies or compliance issues are identified.
• Maintain payroll documentation and records for audits and contract closeout.
• Respond to certified payroll inquiries from agencies, PMs, and subcontractors.
• Manage subcontractor compliance from onboarding through project completion.
• Maintain compliance trackers for active projects and communicate outstanding items.
