Siemens Energy Staffing is seeking an organized payroll specialist to support the North America payroll team in Orlando, FL. You will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing, assist with case management, data validation, and reporting, and help maintain audit readiness in a compliant environment.

The role emphasizes certified payroll, including prevailing wage reporting, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and payroll providers.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience managing prevailing wage payroll and certified payroll reporting (Mandatory).
• Experience with payroll or HCM systems, such as Workday, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports (e.g., WH-347) to clients, government agencies, and other required entities within deadlines.
• Manage payroll-related inquiries by researching issues, resolving discrepancies, and responding to questions about pay, deductions, and time-off accruals.
• Review payroll transactions, employee data updates, and exception reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Process and audit weekly payroll for employees on prevailing wage projects, ensuring accuracy in gross wages, deductions, net pay, and overtime calculations.
• Maintain payroll process documentation, prepare management reports, and support audit activities.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
