Banner Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant in our 2N Telemetry Observation unit in Sun City, AZ. The role focuses on routine patient care, data collection, and collaboration with physicians, case management, and nurses to support patient needs.

The Observation service line is a fast-paced, 24-bed unit on 2N. As a Patient Care Assistant in our Telemetry unit focused on Observation status patients, you will be a part of a demanding environment with a wide variety of patient illnesses. This area features a dynamic similar to the ED, with the diagnostic work-ups and care needs of the Telemetry setting. This wide variety develops a strong clinical foundation and knowledge as you work closely with physicians, case management and experienced nurses. Y ou may potentially float to other IP units, as needed. Daily you will be responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provide a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department. This position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care.
