Banner Ocotillo Medical Center in Chandler, AZ, seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join the Medical Surgical team. The role focuses on routine patient care, data collection, documentation, and unit support, with room for growth in a telemetry-enabled 60-bed service line.

The position is full-time, day shift (6am–6:30pm) with weekend rotations and shift differentials. CNA licensure, BLS, and hospital experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with CNA licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Must hold CNA license in state of practice and have strong communication skills.
• 1 year of medical clerical or hospital/clinic experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and support the patient plan of care.
• Document data in medical records and perform unit support tasks.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Collect vital signs and other delegated measurements; transport specimens.
• Report abnormalities to licensed professionals and communicate care status.
• Perform procedures and assist with unit-specific tasks under supervision.
• Support receptionist/clerical duties to maintain smooth department operation.
