Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in Muncie, IN. The OTA works under an OT to deliver therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting and to support functional outcomes for patients.

Licensure in OTA and CPR certification are required or preferred. The role includes participating in treatment plans, patient education, and collaboration with the care team. Benefits and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualificações

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.
• Licenses: Must have and maintain a current, valid state OTA licensure or certification; CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Observe and document patients’ responses to therapy and report findings to supervising OT.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
