Job summary

Synchrony Rehab in Corydon, IN seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. You will assist with exercises, ADL training, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support patient progress.

Qualifications

• Must have OTA degree from an accredited program.
• Current state OTA licensure or certification; CPR certification preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience in occupational therapy assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve independence.
• Document patient responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising OT.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and adaptive strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress, offering observations.
