Job summary

Synchrony Rehab in Bloomington, IN is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to help implement treatment plans under supervision. You will assist with therapeutic exercises and ADL training, support patient progress, and document responses for OT review.

The role requires an OTA degree, current state licensure or certification, and CPR (preferred). Experience levels range from 0–1 year, and a structured orientation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current/state OTA licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification, preferred.
• Degree in OTA from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Observe and document patient responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising OT.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
