CommonSpirit Health’s St. Joseph Health Grimes Hospital in Navasota, TX seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement OT plans, supervise rehab staff, document progress, and educate patients and families. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required: Associate degree in OT or related field, TX OTA license, CPR, and COTA certification within 90 days. Preferred: 1–2 years of clinical experience. On-site position.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy or related field (required).
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification required within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Administers treatments to patients under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Supervises rehabilitation technicians and student affiliates.
• Maintains timely and accurate medical records and documents progress.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and participates in rounds and meetings.
• Provides patient and family education and resources.
