Job summary

Crane nursing and rehab is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will deliver person-centered care to residents to improve independence and quality of life under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

A Texas OT Assistant license and a COTA credential are required; SNF or long-term care experience is preferred. Knowledge of Net Health electronic documentation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Texas OT Assistant license required.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer OT treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to service requests and relay information to the OT.
• Ensure treatments follow the established plan of care.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and timely.
• Attend required rehab meetings.
