Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks an Orthotic Fitter to assess patient needs and fit off-the-shelf and prefabricated orthoses. You will monitor device performance, provide instructions to patients, and document clinical notes to support ongoing care.

Role requires ABC certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Expect collaborative work with physicians, therapists, and staff within a compliance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
• Current certification as a Certified Fitter or Orthotics (ABC).
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Examine patient orthotic needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Provide independent patient care for devices within scope.
• Instruct patients in use of orthotic devices.
• Provide detailed clinical notes to patient records.
• Support reimbursement processes with administrative staff.
• Follow up with patients and physicians as needed.
• Assist other clinical staff and participate in trainings.
