Job summary

Pretesting may include acuity, color vision, depth perception, pupil reflexes, visual field testing, and eye pressure checks. Applicants must hold a Certified Optometric Technician license and have at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Optometric Technician license required.
• Minimum of one year experience as an Optometric Technician.

Responsibilities

• Process patient information in the computer system and maintain reception records.
• Retrieve patient records from other clinics prior to appointments.
• Manage continuous patient flow by communicating with team members and providers.
• Prepare referrals and written prescriptions for providers to sign.
• Disinfect and wipe down all equipment and instruments.
