Job summary

Optometric Management Group LLC in Middletown, OH is seeking a dedicated Optometric Technician to support the doctor with clinical testing and patient flow from check-in through exam completion. This is an in-person role in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

This position requires strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities; prior optometric or medical office experience is preferred but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and performing preliminary testing.
• Assist the doctor during patient exams as needed.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock exam rooms between patients.
• Support front office operations when needed (filing, faxing, scanning, transcribing, etc.).
• Provide outstanding customer service and patient support.
• Ensure compliance with office procedures and healthcare standards.
