Job summary

Cincinnati Eye Institute is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists in patient testing and exam preparation at our Montgomery, OH location. Travel to our Cincinnati, OH offices may be required, with mileage reimbursement provided.

A strong customer service ethic and basic EMR skills are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience; COA/COT is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of related experience and/or training.
• COA/COT certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient service during every encounter (in person or by phone).
• Greet patients promptly and professionally and assist with check-in/out.
• Support physicians to facilitate clinic flow and efficiency.
• Verify patient information and document medical history and medications.
• Record data in EMR and document procedures accurately.
• Operate and maintain exam rooms and equipment; ensure supplies are stocked.
