This role requires JCAHPO certification, BLS, and 1 year of ophthalmology experience; day shifts, no weekends. Commitment to compassionate care and patient safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of ophthalmology/optometry experience.
• JCAHPO certified ophthalmic assistant with BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic tests and ophthalmic exams.
• Perform testing like visual acuity, tonometry, lensometry, and pupil assessment.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and manage instruments.
• Handle clerical tasks and patient communications.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
