Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners, LLC seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our Taylorville, IL care team. The role focuses on implementing treatment plans under supervision and educating patients, with an emphasis on practical, patient-centered therapy.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in an OTA program, an active COTA license, and NBCOT certification, with about 1 year of prior experience preferred. PRN-daytime schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program is required.
• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification required.
• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred.
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.
