Camellia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Henderson, NC is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support residents on their path to independence. You will work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to implement care plans and promote recovery through therapeutic activities.

Ideal candidates are licensed, possess strong communication skills, and can document sessions accurately.

Qualifications

• Licensed COTA in the state.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus.
• Ability to document sessions accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and exercises based on OT plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and independence.
• Accurately document therapy sessions and track patient progress.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and families to support care goals.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on at-home and restorative programs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement programs.
• Float to nearby facilities if needed based on patient needs.

Job Summary:

Are you a compassionate and licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant ready to make a meaningful impact? Camellia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN COTA to join our rehab team and support residents on their journey to independence and improved quality of life.

Position Summary:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll work closely under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help implement care plans, guide residents through therapeutic activities, and promote recovery and mobility in a supportive long-term care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver care and exercises based on treatment plans created by the OT
• Assist residents with activities that support daily living and independence
• Accurately document therapy sessions and track patient progress
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and family members to support care goals
• Educate residents, families, and staff on at-home and restorative programs
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement programs
• Float to nearby facilities if needed based on patient needs
