Job summary

Patriot Health and Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team. In this role you will plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in our facility in accordance with current standards and regulations, ensuring high-quality resident care.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, competitive pay, flexible scheduling, annual reviews, benefits, and growth opportunities. Per diem/PRN status may apply.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• TN OTA licensure required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine the best intervention plan.
• Perform treatment plans per established plan of care.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents and families.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with the team.
• Conduct therapy and ensure proper documentation and billing.

Job description

Patriot Health and Rehabis seeking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Therapy Team. As a COTA you will be responsible to plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times. Plus, we're offering a $5000* Sign-On Bonse for Full-Time.

Status: Per Diem PRN

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based off scope of practice

• Perform treatment plan to residents; follow short and long term goals and methods to achieve goals based off of the established plan of care by supervising therapist

• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members

• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services

• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients

• Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentations as indicated

Education & Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy

• TN OTA licensure

• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
