Mercy in Missouri is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to assist with objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages under the supervision of an experienced Occupational Therapist.

The role emphasizes documentation, modality administration, and supporting education within the department; licensure in state or eligibility, and BLS certification are required; one year experience preferred, new grads considered.

Formación

• Assist with initial assessments under supervision and follow departmental policies.
• Document patient care progress and treatment needs per policy.
• Maintain progress notes and departmental records accurately.
• Demonstrate knowledge of neonatal to geriatric care needs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with initial assessment on each patient as directed by the supervisor.
• Document the course of patient care including progress notes.
• Administer modalities, exercise regimes, or treatments per policy.
• Maintain progress notes and department records for charges.
• Promote department education and knowledge sharing.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
