Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting. This role focuses on providing therapeutic interventions and supports the execution of treatment plans with a focus on ADL training and patient progress.

Requirements include a degree in OTA, 0-1 years of experience, and an active OTA license. Benefits include weekly pay and comprehensive health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• 0-1 years of experience in occupational therapy.
• Current OTA license/certification and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve function.
• Document patient progress and report to supervising OT.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
