Job summary

Symbria Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to work with our Occupational Therapists to create personalized treatment plans that empower residents to regain independence and improve daily living. This full-time split role supports The Breakers at Edgewater Beach in Chicago and Mather Place in Wilmette, with mentorship and hands-on growth.

You’ll contribute to compassionate care in a collaborative setting while advancing your career through training, accreditation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a valid or pending state license (New grads welcome!).
• Experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehab is great—but not required!

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients regain mobility, strength, and confidence in everyday tasks.
• Maintain productivity standards and ensure accurate documentation.
• Be an integral part of a compassionate interdisciplinary team.
• Build meaningful connections with residents and their families.
