Symbria Rehab in Chicago, IL is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to work with our therapists in creating personalized treatment plans for residents at The Breakers at Edgewater Beach. New grads are welcome and mentorship, training, and hands-on experience are provided to help you grow your career.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help residents regain mobility, strength, and independence, while maintaining documentation and contributing

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a valid or pending state license (New grads welcome!).
• Experience in acute care, long‑term care, or rehab is great—but not required!

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Help patients regain mobility, strength, and confidence in everyday tasks
• Maintain productivity standards and ensure accurate documentation
