Northgate Care Center is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support and implement therapy programs that help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN options with competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• State of Iowa COTA license/credential required.
• New grads welcome; experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing customized occupational therapy programs under the direction of an OT.
• Help patients regain strength and independence through targeted exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
• Provide supportive, patient-centered care during sessions.

Your Impact:

As aCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will:

• Assist in implementing customized occupational therapy programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients regain strength and independence in daily activities through targeted therapy exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
• Ensure patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their therapy sessions.

What We’re Looking For:
