Job summary

Oakwood Care Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support and implement therapy programs that help patients regain independence and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• State of Iowa COTA license required.
• Experience preferred, but new grads are welcome.

Your Impact:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will:

• Assist in implementing customized occupational therapy programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients regain strength and independence in daily activities through targeted therapy exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
• Ensure patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their therapy sessions.
