Job summary

Northgate Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support and implement therapy programs that help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. Join our in-house therapy team; new grads are welcome.

We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN options with competitive pay, full benefits, and opportunities for career growth. You will work under supervision, document progress, and educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises

Qualifications

• State of Iowa COTA license required or in process.
• New grads welcome; willingness to invest in growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing customized occupational therapy programs under the direction of an OT.
• Help patients regain strength and independence through targeted exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
• Ensure patients feel supported and comfortable during sessions.

Your Impact?

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will:

• Assist in implementing customized occupational therapy programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients regain strength and independence in daily activities through targeted therapy exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
• Ensure patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their therapy sessions.

What We’re Looking For?

• State of Iowa Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
