Job summary

InHome Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide home health OT services in and around Schaumburg, IL, helping adults and geriatric patients regain independence in their homes. This role emphasizes flexible scheduling, autonomy, and a supportive agency network.

You'll work under OT supervision, with a consistent patient flow, per-visit compensation, and opportunities for leadership and career growth.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic comfort with technology - email, texting, EMR systems (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Provide home health occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT.
• Visit adult and geriatric patients in their homes and help them regain independence.
• Complete accurate and timely therapy documentation (training provided).

Compensation and Benefits*

• Mileage reimbursement - plus tools to reduce windshield time
• Paid training and ongoing mentorship
• The visit rate for this role ranges from $40-45 per visit

*This position is paid on a per-visit basis. Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Benefits eligibility varies based on employment status and weekly hours worked. Some roles are eligible for medical benefits only; others are eligible for both medical benefits and PTO.
