Oasis Therapy Services is actively seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver rehabilitation services in senior care and SNF settings in Prospect Heights, Illinois. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, safety, and independence.

The role requires an active IL OTA license, NBCOT COTA certification, and CPR.

Qualifikationen

• NBCOT COTA exam passed
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred

• Collaborate with rehab team and complete Net Health documentation
• Participate in supervision and maintain records per Illinois regulations

Oasis Therapy Services is seeking a full‑time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services in senior care and skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings in Prospect Heights, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans focusing on daily living skills, mobility, safety, and independence.
• Assist residents with therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and equipment use.
• Monitor resident progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, safety strategies, and daily living techniques.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and complete accurate, timely Net Health documentation.
• Participate in required Occupational Therapist supervision and maintain supervision records in accordance with Illinois regulations.

Qualifications

• Active and current Illinois Occupational Therapy Assistant license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program meeting Illinois licensure requirements.
• Successful completion of the NBCOT examination for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Current NBCOT COTA certification in good standing is preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively while maintaining required Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation, senior care, or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
