Job summary

Oasis Therapy Services in Crest Hill and Joliet, Illinois, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one rehabilitation services across both facilities. You will work under an OT, deliver treatments focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, and independence, and document progress using Net Health EMR.

Qualifications include an active Illinois OTA license, OTA program graduate, CPR certification, reliable transportation to travel between sites, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Active and current Illinois Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between both facilities.
• Geriatric, assisted living, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Follow individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, and independence.
• Monitor residents' progress and report updates or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment.
• Complete accurate Net Health documentation and collaborate with the care team.
