Job summary

Oasis Therapy Services is actively seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver rehabilitation services in senior care and SNF settings in Prospect Heights, Illinois. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, safety, and independence.

The role requires an active IL OTA license, NBCOT COTA certification, and CPR.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy Assistant license (IDFPR)
• NBCOT COTA exam passed
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of licensed OT
• Implement individualized treatment plans focusing on ADLs, mobility, safety, independence
• Assist residents with therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and equipment use
• Monitor resident progress and report changes to supervising OT
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, safety and daily living techniques
• Collaborate with rehab team and complete Net Health documentation
• Participate in supervision and maintain records per Illinois regulations
