Job summary

Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team. This full-time/part-time/PRN position offers an opportunity to deliver quality care in a supportive skilled nursing environment.

As part of our in-house program, you’ll work closely with experienced therapists and nursing staff, participate in clinical training, and benefit from flexible scheduling and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in good standing.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current treatment practices.
• Ability to work effectively with residents of varying needs and personalities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer occupational therapy treatments for residents with short-term and long-term conditions.
• Deliver care in accordance with established treatment plans.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques.
• Monitor resident progress and response to therapy interventions.
• Accurately complete documentation per facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support resident outcomes.
