Responsibilities: Synchrony Rehab seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a temporary 6-week assignment at Indigo Hall, a senior living community in Charleston, SC. The role may extend up to 12 weeks. Work schedule: Monday-Thursday. Rate: $35/hr. Qualifications:

• Must hold a current, valid state OTA licensure or certification
• Current CPR certification preferred

Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program

Experience: 0-1 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and other interventions.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve their independence.
• Document patient responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies for continued progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support occupational therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
