As a Remote Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will provide occupational therapy services remotely. You will collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists to assess, implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and guide clients via virtual platforms. Your primary goal is to help clients achieve occupational therapy objectives and enhance their functional abilities remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote occupational therapy interventions, including exercises and activities to meet client goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to promote independence and well-being.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including progress notes and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulations, including HIPAA.
• Use telehealth platforms effectively for remote therapy sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in occupational therapy practices.

Compensation

W2 | $27.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and bilingualism.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid COTA certification
• Active CA State COTA license
• Experience in clinical, hospital, or home health settings
• Technical proficiency with telehealth platforms
• Comfort working with pediatrics (18 months+)
• Experience with feeding, sensory, hand skills, emotional regulation, and neurodiverse clients preferred
