Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA

Job Details

This is a temporary 6-week assignment starting August 4th, with potential extension to 12 weeks, located at Indigo Hall, Charleston, SC.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday

Pay Rate: $35/hr, weekly pay

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises, ADL training, and interventions.
• Help patients improve functional abilities and independence through exercises and adaptive techniques.
• Document patient responses, progress, and report to supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies for continued progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Support occupational therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as an OTA.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• 0-1 years of experience.
