North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Texas seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide pediatric occupational therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities, following physician orders and maintaining licensure.

The role requires an Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy, Texas licensure as a COTA, and at least 6 months of full-time pediatric clinical experience; home health experience is preferred, and you must have valid auto insurance and a driver's license.

Qualifications

Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
Current Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
6 months of full-time clinical experience.
Pediatric experience required.
Home health experience preferred.
Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in the patient's home or daytime facility.
Schedule supervision visits with supervising OT according to Texas board guidelines.
Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
Plans for care to meet goals of the occupational therapy interventions.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional activities.
Enhances occupational therapy reputation by ownership for new requests and opportunities to add value.
