Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant focused on pediatric patients. The role emphasizes compassionate, family-centered care delivered in the patient’s home or daytime facility, aligned with physician orders.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas OTA license, an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy, and at least six months of clinical experience, with pediatric exposure highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Current Texas OTA licensure required.
  • 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Must have valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
  • Deliver services in patients' homes or daytime facilities.
  • Schedule supervision visits with supervising OT per Texas guidelines.
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to plan patient goals.
  • Plan care to meet OT interventions' goals.
  • Stay updated on knowledge through educational opportunities and professional involvement.
  • Enhance OT program by taking ownership of new tasks.

Requirements
  • Associatesof Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college oruniversity
  • Currentstate of Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • 6months full-time clinical experience
  • Pediatricsexperience
  • HomeHealth experience preferred
  • Mustcarry valid auto insurance and driver's license.
Responsibilities include
  • Providesskilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance withphysician orders
  • Providesskilled occupational therapy services/interventions in the patients homeor daytime facility
