Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work with pediatric clients in home health and daytime facilities in McKinney, TX.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy and an active Texas license, with at least six months of full-time experience in pediatrics. Home health experience is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required for home visits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Minimum 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatric experience required; home health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services according to physician orders.
• Deliver services in patients' homes or daytime facilities.
• Schedule supervision visits with supervising OT per Texas guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.
• Plan care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Maintain and grow professional knowledge through ongoing education and publications.

Requirements

• Associatesof Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college oruniversity
