Job summary

Shores of Worthington is seeking a PRN In-House Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to our residents. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care in a respectful, supportive environment.

The role involves coordinating progress with the supervisor and team, instructing families and staff in home programs, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Qualifications

• COTA certification or license required.
• Experience in rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and team members.
• Provide treatment to residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Instruct families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Communicate progress and plans with supervisor and team members.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Instructs families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Communicates with the supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
