Job summary

Shores of Worthington is a Residential Health Care Facility seeking a PRN In-House Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to residents. The role collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to assess needs and implement treatment plans in a caring, respectful environment.

You will communicate progress to the supervisor and family, deliver directed therapies, and help staff maintain safe, clean facilities while supporting residents’ functional goals.

• This is a PRN role.
• Certification as Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Instructs families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Communicates with the supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
