Job summary

The Shores of Worthington is actively seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide high-quality OT services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice and departmental procedures.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents to gather data for treatment planning, developing individualized plans with short- and long-term goals, and supervising and directing PTAs in implementing those plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passage of the National Certification examination for OT (NBCOT).
• Current MN OT license or license-eligible in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice and department procedures.
• Evaluate residents to obtain data for treatment planning and develop a treatment plan with target list, short-term and long-term goals.
• Supervise and direct PTAs in the implementation of treatment plans.

• To provide quality occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards


• To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term and long-term goals


• To supervise and direct the Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in the implementation of treatment plans

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program


• Passage of National Certification examination for OT


• Current OT License (or is license-eligible) in Minnesota
