Job summary

Shores of Worthington, a Residential Health Care Facility, seeks a PRN In-House Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitation services to our residents and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

You will support treatment plans directed by the OT, educate families and staff, maintain equipment, and contribute to a great team environment with a $7,500 sign-on bonus over 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and team; instruct resident families or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Provide treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Instruct families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the OT
• Communicate patient progress, problems, and plans with supervisor and interdisciplinary team
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition
• Contribute to a great team environment and supportive leadership

Shores of Worthington is looking to hire a PRN In-House Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to our residents!

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Instructs families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Communicates with the supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
