Occupational Therapy Assistant – Sun West Choice

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and or physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Duties

• Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
• Assesses patients’ progress and communicates with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record.
• Reports effectiveness of treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
