HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, TX is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support treatment plans created by the Occupational Therapist. You will document progress, participate in team meetings, and engage in continuing education to provide high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds Texas licensure as a COTA, BLS certification, and has completed an approved OTA program; one year of COTA experience is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY: Major Tasks, Duties, And Responsibilities

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is responsible for performing treatment programs developed by the Occupational Therapist, documenting treatment, attending team meetings, and participating in continuing education.

What qualifications you will need:

• License / Certifications / Requirements: Requires current Texas licensure (COTA), and Basic Life Support certification.
• Education: Requires graduation from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience: One year of COTA experience is preferred.
