Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Wesley Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kansas. This on-site role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist and supporting patients through therapeutic activities and exercises as part of the treatment plan.

Responsibilities include administering delegated therapies, ensuring adherence to the plan of care, and contributing to a collaborative care

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree in OTA required.
• (COTA) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or (OTA) eligible.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by providing a variety of delegated therapeutic services, in accordance with licensing and regulations. Under the supervision of the primary Occupational Therapist, the COTA Assistant administers therapeutic treatment and engages and supports the patient in therapeutic activities and exercise regimes. The COTA strives to achieve the goals of the physician's plan of care and to support patients throughout the program.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Associate Degree

• (COTA) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, or (OTA) Occupational Therapy Assistant
