Nexushm is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support residents in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans under OT supervision to promote independence, safety, and quality of life.

You will educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and outcomes, while applying current COTA standards of practice. A collaborative team culture and ongoing professional development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Proven clinical rehabilitation skills.
• Experience providing CPT/OCC therapies.
• Familiarity with PCC or similar documentation systems.
• Ability to handle a diverse patient caseload with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment programs to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide OT interventions under supervision and established plan of care.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and outcomes.
• Demonstrate competent technical skills per COTA standards of practice.
