Job summary

Progressive Rehab Solutions is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support an Occupational Therapist in long-term care or similar settings in Texas. You will implement treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance and independence while working with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current state licensure as OTA.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist for individual or group therapy.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and endurance.
• Provide gait training, transfer training, and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Assist patients with the use of assistive devices such as walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
• Complete required clinical documentation accurately and timely.
