Job summary

Lourdes Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join its rehabilitation team in Pasco, WA. You will provide direct patient care under an occupational therapist and help with interventions and documentation.

This on-site, day-shift PRN role offers comprehensive benefits, support for certification, and a pay range of $28.43 to $38.38 per hour. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Licensed and eligible to practice as a COTA in the state.
• CPR certification required.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist, assist interventions and documentation.
• Communicate patient progress to the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team.
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs and home exercises.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post-treatment charges to patient records daily.
• Document patient care per regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain treatment equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable laws and professional standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Licensed COTA in state where services are rendered

CPR certification

Basic Life Support certification (within 30 days of hire)

How You'll Contribute

A Physical Therapy Assistant who excels in this role:

• The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist, assisting with therapeutic interventions and documentation while supporting quality and compliance standards in rehabilitation services
• Communicate patient progress or concerns to the supervising occupational therapist and interdisciplinary team.
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs and home exercises.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post treatment charges to patient records daily.
• Document patient care accurately and in accordance with all regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain treatment equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable laws and professional standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
