Job summary

Eden Senior Care invites a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join Evansville Manor, a skilled nursing facility within our network. You will provide rehabilitation services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist at one or more service locations.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin COTA license in good standing
• Experience in skilled nursing preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct therapy services to residents under supervision
• Communicate resident progress or concerns to the OT and interdisciplinary team
• Instruct families and nursing staff on follow-through programs
• Maintain documentation of treatment and progress per guidelines
• Ensure therapy equipment is safe and the workspace is clean
• Follow facility protocols and safety standards for residents and staff

Evansville Manor a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide direct therapy services to residents under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Communicate resident progress or any concerns to the Occupational Therapist, supervisor, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Instruct families and nursing staff on patient follow-through programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain documentation of treatment provided and progress made in accordance with facility guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that all equipment used during therapy sessions is in safe working order, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow facility protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for both residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing in the state of Wisconsin
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or related setting preferred but not required.
